Abstract Multiple micronutrient supplements (MMS) during pregnancy have gained attention in recent years due to growing evidence that they are more effective than iron and folic acid (IFA) supplements in preventing preterm birth and low birth weight. So, should MMS also replace weekly iron and folic acid supplements (WIFAS) for non-pregnant adolescent girls?
