Abstract
The second issue of Bleeding, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology (BTVB) 2026 opens with an editorial, that is linked to one of the first articles of our journal, published in the first issue of 2022 and concerns the use of statistics in biomedical research. The main message of the editorial signed by the undersigned together with Augusto Di Castelnuovo is that biomedical research should move beyond the mechanical use of the p-value [...].
