Objective: To analyze the epidemiological profile of yellow fever (YF) in the municipality of Breves, Pará, to identify occurrence patterns, distribution, and disease trends in the period studied. Methods: Observational analytical epidemiological survey, cross-sectional, ecological (demographic) design, involving 99 individuals presenting symptoms suggestive of yellow fever in the municipality. Of these, 33 individuals were laboratory-confirmed with the disease between February and March 2025, based on data organization, tabulation, and analysis. Results: Regarding YF prevalence, among the 99 suspected cases, all lived in rural areas; 84 individuals (84.8%) were male, and 89 individuals (89.8%) were aged 20 to 50 years. All suspected cases underwent RT-PCR laboratory sample collection, and 33 individuals were confirmed for yellow fever caused by wild-type virus. Among confirmed cases, all were male, with highest incidence among young adults whose main economic activities were hunting in dense forest, fishing, and logging. Of the confirmed cases, 6 (18.9%) died due to wild-type yellow fever, and the rest recovered with home follow-up. Conclusion: The results are consistent with previous studies, which raise the hypothesis that men of economically active age who live or work in rural or forest areas are more exposed to the transmitting vector.
